PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
PhotoACTIVE is not a surgical medical device but an amorphous colloidal liquid solution, which through a photochemical reaction of the product, or the light of day, excites an electron that is promoted from the valence band to the conduction band by creating reactive hydroxyl radicals (OH •) which in contact with the lipid membrane of the bacteria the denature preventing the aerobic respiration phase of the micro bacteriological charges. The product has a very effective antimicrobial and antiviral action, since instead of other antibacterial agents containing Biocides or candidate products of which REGULATION (EU) no. 528/2012 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 22 May 2012 on the making available on the market and use of biocides, does not kill bacteria or viruses, but through oxidation reduction reactions listed above, decomposes them into gaseous substances, obtaining carbon dioxide and water vapors. The added value of photocatalytic titanium dioxide compared to a normal PMC is that it lasts at least 2 years after application. Apply the product on walls, ceilings, carpets, rugs, furnishings that are not in contact with food.
PROPERTY
Sanitizing: acting on the lipid membrane of the bacteria, denature them reducing the bacterial load on the treated surfaces. It is the best long-lasting virucidal and bactericidal available on the market.
Self-cleaning: destroy through a photochemical oxidation process all the organic matter with which it comes into contact transforming it into water vapor and non-toxic minerals.
Depolluting: applied on external surfaces it reduces the concentration of NOx, SOx and PMx in the air.
Anti-odor: if applied on internal surfaces, it eliminates odors by reducing the concentration of VOCs in the air. It also reduces the concentration of any harmful pollutants (formaldehyde).
Superhydrophilicity: PhotoACTIVE generates superhydrophilicity on rigid surfaces, contact angles of less than 10° are created, the water spreads without allowing dirt to settle on the substrate.
Air purification: the air contaminated by pollutants, viruses, bacteria, VOC is purified only by the simple contact of the air in particular filters capable of decomposing the pollutants. These particular filters can be inserted inside air treatment systems and air conditioners.
COMPLIANCE
The PhotoACTIVE product line is prepared with ingredients approved by ECHA and FDA. It is an ambiental sanitizing product.
