Added to polymers or compounds during the production of blown film, sheets, injection-molded parts, etc., the ADM-BIO-ESK masterbatch reduces the coefficient of friction (CoF) between surfaces. It is particularly useful when it is necessary to reduce friction between film and film or between film and metal.
USE: Suitable applications include all types of blown film extrusion, cast sheet film extrusion and injection molding. Recommended dosage ranges from 2% to 10% depending on process and flow requirements.

Masterbatch ADM BIO FK 429 is a dispersion of an organic/inorganic blend derived from a silicate complex dispersed in a bio-compostable polymer.
US: ADM BIO FK 429 is recommended for the production of bio-compostable films for the fruit, vegetable and cheese packaging sector. The additive contained in the master prevents the formation of fungi and bacteria by virtue of an action mechanism capable of reducing the formation of biofilm by inhibiting microbial growth which, as is known, is responsible for organoleptic deterioration within the packaging and therefore for the acceleration of food degradation, including vegetables.
