Talc-based masterbatch in GPPS matrix. ADM-PS-9083 is used as a nucleating additive in polystyrene foams. The PS nucleant masterbatch promotes a fine and regular cell size and is also suitable for applications in contact with food. Sectors: it is used as a nucleating additive in polystyrene foams.
Promotes a fine and regular cell size. Dosage: The dosage depends on various factors such as thickness of the product, climatic conditions and expected duration.
The ADM-PE-DG11 Masterbatch has been designed to control the evolution of humidity during the melting phase by reacting chemically with water, wet products and gases present in the melt during the molding or extrusion process of plastic materials. The reaction product is uniformly distributed and remains in the polymer in the form of an inactive residue. The use of the desiccant is important in the use of recycled materials as well as for applications sensitive to the presence of moisture in the polymer. ADM-PE-DG11 is mainly used with LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP, EVA or polyolefinic mixtures of recycled materials. Sectors: By using the product as a processing desiccant, it therefore has a technical function ancillary to polymerization, that is, it runs out in the purpose in which it is engaged, does not fall within the use of a BPR, but respects only the REACH regulation. Dosage: 0,5 – 2,0% in the Film or Stamping sectors. 1,0 – 2,0% per the Compounding.
